You may already be too old to apply and unless they've changed the policy having a child is automatic 'ground position'. There are other airlines like Emirates, Cathy or China Airlines you could apply to.

You will need a second language and some experience in Service Industry to compensate for your age.

Good Luck

Dont underestimate cabin group. in maximum circumstances incredibly in plane now a days, Flight group bypass by way of much less stress than cabin group. Cabin group are there for defense, that's the reason on a low fee acrrier while even no provider is being provide, (i.e nutrients drinks) there continues to be a fixed ratio of cabin group on board. Pilots on the different hand have it much less confusing simply by aurtomation and greater recent technologies, they bypass by way of alot much less stress at maximum circumstances. despite the fact that if any element does screw up, that's the pilots accountability to shop lives and land the plane properly. that's the reason they gets a commission lots. And word, that's not limited to SIA, it quite is international. some cabin crews and flight crews paintings greater sturdy than the boys and ladies at SIA incredibly in worldwide places with enjoyed ones operations. lower back to the question, no they could desire to not be paid much less, simply by fact if crap hits the fan, those in charge for paying for you out are the cabin group. they could placed up with all of the stress and rudeness which some passengers carry, to boot as be the protection personell on a flight

you can try going for it. But my advise is you are better off having a ground based job since you have a kid.

sometimes you might have to travel for long periods or have a non-fixed work shift.
How will you be able to cater to your kid? I think at his age, he needs his mummy to be around more often.

by the way, being a cabin crew is non all that glamourous.
But if you still think of going for it. I suggest you try those Budget airlines that do turnaround trips or short trips.

You get to be a cabin crew and at same time still based in Singapore and can spend time with kid.

I know many females that have children that work as a cabin crew... but then again they are a bit older than 1 year. But still i think you should go for it. Best of luck!
