It sounds like he's just tired of the dating scene and wants to settle down already.

You're entitled to be confused; there is a bit of a mixed message, since he also seems to indicate that he is "settling" -- for you. Talk to him; if there are any doubts going into this marriage, things will only get worse later.

He is tired of the problems relationships tend to produce. He would rather not have anyone than go through the effort of establishing another relationship. We all get tired at times. It takes a lot of effort to make a relationship work.

What is he tired of? The procession of girls in his life? All the previous affairs ending unsuccessfully?
Personally I think he should want to marry you out of love for you. Not because he is tired of the others. But in the end let it be whatever suits both of you best. Best of luck.

No he is not tired at all, just he wants u to say 'yes' and this is his way of salesmanship. He is not sure u will say 'yes', maybe because of his background, so he wants to clinch the deal fast, before things go wrong.

Beware dear. I think he has got fifth one!!!!!! or making plan to get another one.... So dont depend on him emotionally for the time being. Allow space for him, he will show his real colour and you too can judge whether is it right to marry him or not.

Tired of bad relationships. That if it doesn't work out between you two, he'll swear off girls forever.

Which he won't, of course, but let the guy rant.
