the same spiritual gift in the corinthian church has to be for today aswell?
i heard some people say its preaching, it cant be, thats not prophecy.
any experiances?

Yes, the gift of prophecy is for today. I have experienced it most of my life. God has used many people to give me a prophecy or a Word of Knowledge. God has also given me a WOK and Prophecy for others, He's given me many dreams that have been fulfilled. He is an awesome God!

The nearest I've ever got to prophecy was when I went to the races with my boyfriend and he correctly predicted the winning horse in 3 races. Now that was prophecy with a profit!

I have received many "Words of knowledge" and seen many healings. Just the other day I received a word of knowledge about a knee that God had His hand on. Nothing specific, just "a knee". I went up to the altar at church and announced to the congregation. A man then walked up to claimit and we prayed for him. Today he is doing things without pain that he has been unable to do for many years. And that is just one example. I believe that the Holy Spirit that fills us is the same spirit that filled Jesus and the disciples and that God intends us to use the power of the Holy Sprirt to bring His Kingdom here to the Earth.

The problem with prophecy lies with the people who claim to be prophets, but are not ... and with the people who follow them, but should know better.
Authentic and true prophets are sent by God, and they typically speak God's honest truth, and nothing else .... at least officially.
There's a big shortage of those guys in today's world.

I have heard prophecies given or word of knowledge not sure what you would call it.
on instance was a woman who could not have a baby tried for years, the pastor prayed for her told her you will have a baby by the end of the year..she did
