there is a bump under my armpit. it hurts whenever i touch it and it is really hard/lumpy. i am only 15. i know that the lymph nodes are under there which means they are fighting off something...

Go have it checked out by your doctor, it could be from the deodorant you are using but better safe than sorry

You are correct in thinking it is probably a swollen lymph node and that your body is trying to fight an infection.
Cancer is not an infection, and breast cancer is rarely painful.
If it doesn't go away in a day or two, see a Dr and the infection causing this may need treatment.

You should still go in - what's the worse that can happen?
I had something similar to that and I found out it was just fatty tissue - you are suppose to rub it out.
They wouldn't schedule me a doctor's appointment right away but when I did get in - I found out it was nothing to worry about.
It's great though that you are doing your monthly checkups continue to do so - although breast cancer is something which occurs in older women young women can get it too.
Make sure you tell your parents though either way a good support system is a plus.

I highly doubt it's cancer, but the best thing to do is just to make sure and check with your nearest Physician or Doctor. But, as I said, I doubt it's Cancer.

no not until all questions about the lump have been answered by a dr. my father waited to long to get treated for his cancer. I didnt.

i have that too! but mine doesn't hurt anymore.

the more you worry about getting cancer, the more the energy of cancer will "attract" to you.
the law of attraction: a like energies attract.
your thoughts give off energies too, and you don't want bad energies to attract to your life.
it's complicated i know.
