I know someone who use his body as medium of dead people.
Many people come to him and ask advice when he in state where his body act as medium. He use yellow headband, while his eyes is closing.
Other than that he also cure some illness.

isn't it called channelling or something like that? this is where people claim to be posessed by some long dead spirit and they can do things like predict the future, heal illness, etc.
didn't shirley mclaine claim this at one point?

dead people's soul never return in any form or shape. In fact, they reside in a place called "barzakh" which is a barrier between this world and the hereafter until the day of judgement. Anybody who claims or acts as a medium for dead one is a fraud and has links with satan (jin) and he/she might cure with the help of jinn that is not a miracle because God gave the jinn some capabilities which he did not give for humans. (this is according to the islam).

First of all in Jesus christ there is but one spirit the holy spirit which is a person of the trinity. Second any other spirit is demonic no matter how good it may appear to be. The influence of spiritism started early and by how the lord god reacted to it we can see its very nature. Any deviner or spiritist who communicated with the dead was to be put to death. In the new testament we are called to test the spirits whether they be of Christ or not. If the spirit does not give glory to Jesus it is not of god. Just as Jesus glorified the father the holy spirit glorifies the son Jesus.
