every time i hit "select all" it only selects one page and i need to copy the whole 52 pgs at once

Try using the SELECT ALL command on the EDIT menu. If it dosen't work, If it doesn't work, then you are propbably using an old version of Adobe Reader. Download the latest version at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

save the PDF file then print it out,,,, all 52 pages...
word will not convert pdf documents even if you copy very page separately it would be wasting you're time

you can download abbyy fine reader8.0. it's a best soln. or try pdf to word converter softwares
