Okay my house gets soo f-ing hot i can not even sleep because it is too hot i am so tired rightn ow but i cant sleep because of the hottness my brother has an a/c in his room but the rest of the house is soo hot and my mom wont take it out of my brothers room he is 18 and he gets anything he wants me and my little brother have to beg for stuff this sux dont u agree an ideas on what i should do and oh yeah i ask her to buy an a/c but she calms she never has money !!!

I get a spray bottle, fill it with cool water and spray myself with it. Keep your hair wet thats the trick to feeling cool. Make sure the fan is on if you have one. Another thing I do is get a huge chunk of ice as big as possible and put it in a pan in front of the fan.
You might try finding someone who has an ac they want to sell and maybe you could do some work for them...sort of barter for it.

Go get a fan for your room or sleep in your brothers room on the floor and put a blanket or comforter down to make it more soft. Good luck it is hot for everyone right now dear. Also try putting a cool rag on your neck and face right before sleep .

my advice, is take a nice, cold shower b4 going to bed. You will feel alot fresher when going to bed. Also you might want to write your mom a letter..explaining to her how you really feel, buy a fan for ur room at least. But dont make this a big deal, maybe mom really has NO money. Communication is the key here..good luck dear.

A good friend of mine once took out everything from his refrigerator and grabbed his blankets and pillows to sleep in it. His body hung half way out. It was too funny when he told me this. LoL
Really, I agree with Carlito. Those are pretty much the easiest ways to keep cool.
You know what else you can do? Have a garage sale. Raise enough money for one.
Sale some old clothes, shoes, jackets, toys that you do not use anymore. Even get your mother to help. -Good luck.

Since your brother is 18, he might be moving away before long and maybe you will get his room. Is there any chance you can sleep on the floor in his room?

Take a cool shower before bed. Heat rises, so find the lowest part of the house (basement) and make a bed down there during the hot spells.

That does not seem right to me. does your Mom have an AC in her room? if she does, ask her if you and your little brother can sleeping in the same room with her. even on the floor if it has to be.

Get a fan. Open the windows. Sleep in the room nearest the kitchen (It gets coldest in there). Good night.

i am sorry you dont have air and iknow in some places its very warm. i know it would help if you caould all sleep in your brothers room but i guess that ins't one of them options. well you could ask her to save for one which i am sure she won't . i dont kn ow its expensive and most people dont ' have the money.
