I have never tried it but Yes I think because if you don't take a shower the whole day most likely the curls won't be gone ^_^

They are better for your hair since they help keep it from drying out so much with all the heat curing but as for keeping the curl in all day, will depend on your own hair type. I have extremely straight hair and I'm lucky if any curling, including the steam curlers lasts for 4 hours. If there is any humidity in t he air, I can be sure the curls will be straight by the end of 2 hours. Also, the length of your hair will also make a difference on the length of time the curls stay in.

They make very long-lasting curls. I have one of the Caruso sets. Once the curl is in, it stays. I have slick, heavy Asian hair, and it's one of the better products I've used for curls that stay.

Here's the drawback -- the rollers are small, and there aren't a lot of them. You have to work fast to get them in your hair because once they cool down, there's no more steam. If you are sloppy in the roll and don't get the ends laid down just right, you get a very long lasting kink or curl in the wrong direction.

I would be a total fan of these if you could buy as many of the size that's right for your hair as you need. For my length hair, the extra small size is almost useless, so I'm left with maybe 6-8 of the medium and larger size, so I have to choose between only doing half of my head at a time, or loading each curler up with too much hair.

I tried steam hair rollers. It being steam doesn't make any difference for me. Some people like them. I just dampen my hair and put the rollers in. Leaving the rollers in for the whole day helps a lot. The key thing is to have them absolutely dry for a couple of hours before you remove the rollers. Water allows the hair to re-gain its shape.

Years ago I used them all the time. They were great because the moisture from the steam makes the hair curl better and last longer. Try them out. I bet you will love them too!

Excessive amount of heat does damage your hair. I would suggest you buy a heat guard hair spray that you use before you blow dry your hair and style it. My hair is perfect condition, I blow dry my hair everyday, and straighten it every 3 days, so the heat guard works really well.
