It sound like your nephew is not motivate to make a life for himself. I know its hard on you and removing him is not as easy, because you do love him. This problem is not as difficult as you may think. You must learn what is his interest. It's best to approach him during dinner time. Have paper and pencil at your finger tips.

Just make a list of topic you bring as an idea career from him, but of course he must submit his thoughts on it. Once you completed the list-narrow it down to the possibilities and you both can work on how to applied for the job he would like to do.

If your nephew questions dissatisfaction or make an inquiry of your involvement, explain that its time for him to be independent.

Just kicking him out will not urge him to get a job. He will just live in the street. Therefore, giving him the motivation just may help. If he shows not intentions of improving himself. You should consult with his parents and give him a due date to change his life or he has to leave. I really hope everything works for the best for you and him. Good luck and God bless.

Kick the deadbeat out or he will still be mooching off you 10 years from now. Wait til he leaves the house, put all his stuff outside then change the door locks.
