I'm having a debate with my best friend. I accompanied her to meet her new crush and I met his best friend. We had a great time together. There was lots of flirting and holding hands but I din't kiss him because kissing is special to me. Anyway, at the end of the night, he didn't ask for my number. I take it he's not into me, but my friend keeps arguing to give it time and he will come on his own. I don't really believe that cause to me, if a guy likes you, he will ask you out. What do you think?

He told me he thought I was pretty and we pretty much spent the night talking about ourselves and what we liked. There's no reason he'd be shy...

Maybe he hesitated, or had a good time and simply forgot. I know it sounds weird, but if you are this worried about it, call him and ask him out. (It does work both ways you know?) Or call your friends "crush" and see what he says. Probably not a big deal.

You're right. No matter what, if a guy feels a connection with you, he would ask for some sort of second date or phone number. He probably had a good time that night, and just didn't think it was going to go any further.

Well yes they eventually will ask you out but sometimes time is all they need to be able to figure out if they like you or not. Sometimes guys fear rejection so they admire from afar and put it in the back of their minds because they don't want to look stupid for asking someone out that doesn't feel the same about them.

i say ur best friend is right. maybe he doesnt want to rush into things. just give him some time and if he really had a good time that night, which it sounds like he did, he'll ask you out when hes ready.

I think so to, his major loss! You did right by sticking to the fact ,you think kissing is special! When your man, comes along. He will know he can trust you,you won't have a bad reputation around town.Just keep hanging with your friends! Enjoying your life. You can double date later! If he calls,he calls ,if not.Don't sweat it!

he is most likely shy, you should give it time, kissing on the lips shouldn't be something too special, i kiss my friends all the time...

You're right. Even if the guy is shy, he'll work up the courage if it's important enough to him. Find someone else.
