The immorality that exists in the bible out weighs the morality. The morality that is in this rotten book is intrinsic behavior among all rational people.

You must be joking?!? Society as a whole HAS stopped believing in the Bible. We have gone off into our own little worlds where we do what seems right to us. Solomon wrote "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12) That's how we operate now, in ways that seem right to this man, that man, and the other man. I believe what I believe and that's that for me. Society says truth is relative..if it feels good and doesn't kill you, do it....if you can get away with it, do it.... If you know more than an handful of people who are REALLY following MOST of the ten commandments and loving God and their fellowmen as themselves, you're in good company. I strive to be a moral Christian. I enjoy pressing on toward that mark. I say pressing because no one is perfect on this earth.

I believe that people, for the most part know right from wrong. Of course there will always be the criminal mind at work and we will have to be vigilant to keep those like that in check. Societies before the time of the bible had thier codes that controlled the conduct of the citizens. There have been societies here in the Americas' that had thier own moral codes till the Spanish came and enslaved them. So no, I would not be afraid.

How many of the present society follow ANY laws regarding morality?
The morality is very low as it is in the whole world.
for example : when problems arise in a marriage, do you hear, ' divorce and/or separation' , before you hear 'we're going to try to work this out'?
how many never- wed virgins do you know over their teen-age years?
the term " hooking up " is becoming popular
We are already living in a time period that can be identified as , "critical times hard to deal with....." Where men will be, "...lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God."

As a society's allegiance to Scripture goes, so goes that society. It is well for a people when it is faithful to Scripture; only destruction (in many forms, and many times postponed) awaits that culture that strays from God and His Word.
All this to say that the Bible can be understood, in one sense, as God's Commandments to us (see every verse of Psalm 119 to see how the psalmist describes the Bible). So, if a society strays from the Bible, of course it has strayed from the Commandments.
And yes, when this has happened, we should fear the worst for that society, whether it is ours and another.

Why should I care what society thinks? I don't care now. It's my personal walk with God that is going to get me into Heaven. People already don't follow the commandments. I wouldn't be afraid for myself, it would just mean the Second Coming was that much closer.

Society has stop believing the bible here in America, when abortion is legal, homosexuality has an agenda, prayer and the bible is taken out of school, and the lie of separation of church and state is mentioned, society has for gotten God, and yes when truth is taken out of morality, a society is doomed to fall, so i do fear for this nation

Umm..kinds sounds like now if you aks me. No, its not scary, i just feel bad for the people. Satan has blinded them. Thats is why I go on with my preaching work, worshipping Jehovah happily whether people like it or not. I'm trying to let other people know Jehovah and feel that happiness I feel deep down that no one can take away. Have a great day! =]
Good question by the way.

Are you kidding? People stopped doing that years ago. And yes that's scary, when I think about the consequences.

The gospel is not meant to cure societies ills. It is meant to cure men from the ills of society.
