TRICK QUESTION!!!

Everyone knows that any manly man worth his salt has a girlfriend or wife, and THEY are the ones carrying said wallet or purse!

Don't try to fool me, sweetness!

I carry a wallet, a big one for all the bloody credit cards, etc., but I see men here in New York and in Los Angeles with what amount to large leather purses. Who knows what 'manly' is anymore? Am I 'manly' because, a vegetarian, I wear neither leather shoes nor pack a leather wallet in my right rear pocket?

Anything ending in the word "purse" should not have the word "man" in front of it.
If a man carrying a purse asked me out, I'd run, not walk, the other way.
Sorry...stick with a wallet or briefcase. A backpack is OK.

No, my generation would definitely not consider it manly.
A wallet in the back pocket is really bad for your spinal column.
Try a brief case or back pack, I think you can get away with either of those and still be manly.

Sometimes guys have stuff to carry around and it doesn't fit in your pockets. Why should we women be the only ones allowed to have fashionable accessories?! Any man comfortable enough to carry a man purse shouldn't worry about what people think.

Well if man purse can = messenger bag, no problem there.

Lotta younger guys these days tote around more then what just a wallet can hold...

I am caught in the middle. Which is less manly a "fanny pack" or "man purse"? I prefer a wallet and I am 99.9 percent man.

Of course. I still carry a wallet in my pocket.

But 30 years ago it was called a briefcase.

Today its called a laptop case.
