Soda is definitely less healthy...even diet soda. The lipton tea is okay, but it is better and healthier if you brew some up yourself.

I was actually quite surprised, the lipton green tea has like 20 grams of sugar - quite a lot, almost as much as a soda. So, although it may have some qualities in the green tea, sugar content it is as bad for you as soda. The diet has no sugar, but has the typical diet taste - so you have to decide. I found out the other day that Arizona Green Tea has a lot less sugar (it is sweetened with honey, so no aftertaste) and tastes just as good as the Lipton.

Read the label. Likely they are both mostly sugar. Cola drinks have caffeine, as does the green tea. Other types of soda do not have caffeine.
So is sugar plus caffeine worse than just sugar?

I think that the soda would be worse. At the very least, the green tea has the ability to speed up your metabolic rate.

Probably soda. But you'd need to read the contents of each beverage to know for sure.
