(Believers), if you had to take it by law, would you?
what do you think you'd do?

(Non- believers) even though you think the Bible is bunk & etc..
if by law you had to take a mark or chip..whatever, to buy and sell would you?
or would you think it was just a fluke that the bible in Revelations prophesied it?

I dearly hope not. Right now it's easy to say, "No, not ever!" But if/or when the time comes, I pray I have the courage to do God's will.
God bless.

Oh my fellow sister. I would dare say that even if the two witnesses stood right before them. Some would still not believe. I do not know if this chip is truly the mark or not. I thought "the mark" would require a statement of belief. However if it goes against the Spirit (which I believe it does) then in your heart accepting it would be a statement of your faith. No I will refuse and return to wilderness to be a voice as John was.
I would think the rapture would have happened before this time. But in case it did not or I was not found worthy this would be my plan. All my family has also agreed we will not receive the real id that is suppose to be coming out next year.

Yours in Christ,
Miss Mona

Fifteen years ago, I would have thought this was too far off in the future to worry about, but with the latest devices in homeland security and other issues, I can see a realistic scenario for this to happen.

In one of my textbooks a year ago, it used a scenario where our Human Resource staff had to plan for a one-world currency and all nations were united, and the year was 2020, and the employees would have to have the mark to buy and sell. And the publisher is not a christian publisher, but understands future business trends very well.

We're being told daily to be afraid of terrorism, so we allow our pets to be chipped to find them and many people are wanting the same for their children so if they are stolen they can be easily found. How far is that from a mark?

All it will take is for society to see the value in wanting this protection (think of no lost credit cards, just wave your hand and the soft drink machine will deduct the money from your account) and the world will run for it.

And at that point, my friends, if the Lord has not returned, we will have to make some hard and fast decisions. What if this means our family goes without food because we cannot buy or sell. Will you be able to stay firm to God at that point if you are accused of endangering your children?

I could rant on and on all night, but to me, this is not a far off scenario.

And to answer your question. No I will not take the mark.

No, I will never take any such mark, not only because it is forbidden but also due to my love for my Lord God - I hope to die for Him before I ever do such a thing (or anyone tries to do it to me :-) The only mark I have on my forehead is the sign of the cross +

Since you have asked this question, don't you feel that progress in science like mapping of human genome and DNA, etc. to find uniqueness among us, and development of advanced machines (robots) may eventually lead to such a scenario soon?

Thought a lot of my fellow Christians have written above that they will not do so, the plans of the evil one are subtle and he tries his best to beguile us. That is why it is very important to have a strong faith in God that He may help us (through the Holy Ghost) to discern between right and wrong.

May the Lord be with His followers now and at the time of our deaths,
Andrew

Of course the danger is the "mark" could be much more subtle, much less obvious.

For example, I have read where some believers consider "666" to be short-hand for "www" meaning soon we will all need the internet to "buy and sell".

I think we should all be careful, just in case we are living in the end-times; and not suppose that all biblical prophecy (particularly in Revelation) will unfold as neat and tidy and obvious as in the "Left Behind" series.

Remember the scriptures warn us that even "God's elect" will be deceived at the end.

I believe that the mark of the beast will be known for what it is and will not be a secret thing. Therefore if it is the 666 mark that is put on your hand or forehead, there is NO WAY I'd take it. I'd die for my Lord, knowing that I was faithful to Him til the end and I'd end up in Heaven. To take this mark is to pledge allegiance to satan and end up with him in hell. I do believe us christians will be raptured before this takes place so I doubt if it will be our test of faith. God bless

There are a lot of theories about "the Mark", the Beast", and the number "666". John in Revelations wrote about "visions" he was seeing. And there are Bible scholars all over the world with about a hundred differing interpretations for those "visions". I will feed and care for those I love and hope that God/Goddess is loving enough to understand this----Blessings!

Frater Pan is maximum suitable in his findings. The form 666/616 is seen a favorite-day numeral however the Roman stimulated numerals have been greater extensively used. in the renowned-day of 666/616 you will not locate as a mark yet greater of a representation of the Roman version of DCLXVI -666 or DCXVI -616. those have been the version of marks that have been the 1st written in the process the writting of the Christian bible. All varieties of writting have been accomplished in the classic latin merely before the effort-free language spoken in each u . s .. It additionally references the 666 or 616 yrs of Roman rule while Nero grew to grow to be ruler. So regardless of the mark is "supposedly" to be it will be, greater effective than probably the previous Roman numerals that we nonetheless use on the instant to mark "specific" records or it will be greater of a digital rendition of the form. Myself, i don't think in the Revelations theory because of the fact of it incredibly is historic "repeat" of the present cases wherein it replaced into written. i could definately bypass with Frater Pan in this one, my answer is merely to make sparkling historic reference.

Honestly, I hope someone kills me before I take any mark from the devil. Even if it wasn't visible; even on my butt. I don't care, I love Jesus with all my heart and I would never take that mark. If that became a law, I would hope they would let me mark myself with the name of Jesus instead. All over. So if that ever does become a law I hope someone kills me or God saves us all.

Why does everyone always take this as "LITERAL".

Taking the mark on your forehead or on your hand is NOT an "actual" mark.

Taking the mark on your forhead simply means "thoughts of evil in your head and erasing God from your mind"

Taking the mark on your hand is "the act of murder, theft, making writings against God."

It has NOTHING to do with a computer chip. If the "Law of man" said I have to do it, then I'll do it. It has nothing to do with the "Laws of Yahweh" which are on my forehead, hands and heart!

Peace Always.

Naw, being one of those old school thugs turned believer, I'd more than likely go underground and just come out at night to cut the hands or heads off people like 'fed up' in order to make my purchases. Noone will miss people like that.
