Of all the people on Earth I know R&S people have a few cartoons cut out to keep on bad days and look at to bring a SMILE into their day.

Variation of what? I suppose you are trying to portray evolution. Is it not strange that we humans are the only ones who ever evolved: we don't have intelligent plants, or evolved fishes into some kind of underwater humans or humans that have wings like birds (from birds)... hmmm... what makes the apes so special that we are supposed to come from them?
However difficult it may appear to sound, I do believe that God created us (in His image) and that we have a special purpose in our lives of coming to know God, a chance (and gift) that He has given to each one of us.
Our lives are short, we don't know how long we'll live or our last day on earth... if a person searches for God he/she will surely find Him; and I know it to be true.
