You take the kid by the hand whatever this child is doing you take the child home for a spanking. No public spankings those don't work because you don't need an audience. But that child will learn not too behave in that way especially in public and you keep taking the kid back to Walmart or the mall or a public place and make sure there's no more outbursts like that.

I think timeout is silly and i think time out is a cop out and people need to be a parent and not avoid dealing with there kid then and there im not saying beat them i dont do that or approve but i think discipline is necessary a hit or slap on the hand or booty

i like my mom very lots. at cases she will annoy me, yet a mom won't be in a position to be expected to be suitable perpetually. I understand her and seem as much as her. She's taught me very almost each little thing i understand, and he or she's the explanation i'm a author. Please do no longer placed your mom in a compactor. that should be dreadful.

I would have taken him to the bathroom, warmed his little bottom and had a stern talking too.... then I would have paid for my things and went home......

My son is 15, daughter 6 and a newborn, and my children have NEVER acted that way with me !!!!!!!!!!!!!! They know they would not get away with it !

All right. Maybe I'm a dinosaur, but I
believe that a calmly delivered, moderate
fanny warming is not always the wrong medicine.

The problem with disciplining a child in public is that no matter what you do someone disapproves. If you spank your kid you risk some jerk calling Child Services on you. So parents have to deal not only with the child but nosy people as well. (such as yourself).

Sometimes they annoy me. I know people that use time out. And their kids laugh at them while they are in the corner.

Time outs just teach the kid that as long as you are willing to do the time.. do the crime.
