Are you aware...that Muslims believe Jesus is the Messiah and we believe he will return. He will kill the anti Christ, unite Muslims and Christians and bring peace to the world. Just telling the facts as they are in Islam for those of you who don't know. There are many differences between Islam and Christianity but also some interesting similarites.
Note: IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL. Thankyou.

Actually, I did not know that! Thank you for the information!

I did however know that God and Allah are one in the same. My mother was talking about the Muslims worshiping Allah and denying the true God...I had to tell her that Allah is the same thing as God....

Draagon that would actually be Judaism that its was modeled after since the Koran and the Torah mirror each other. and if you really knew about religion you would know that Jews and Muslims both speak of JESUS as a prophet.
in Genesis 25 chp 22-26 verse
21] And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
[22] And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.
[23] And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
[24] And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
[25] And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
[26] And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

If you read on in the bible Esau became EDOM and Jacob had 12 sons, the LORD changed his name to ISRAEL GENESIS 33:28 His sons are the 12 tribes of ISRAEL.

Thank you and GOD Bless.

I understand that islam has taken parts of Christianity and called it their own. However it is not right. Islam is a false religion. As I understand it muslims believe Christ is a prophet not the messiah. They also deny that he is God or God's son.

I am aware that according to Islam, the rocks and trees will cry out: "There is a Christian hiding behind me; come and kill him!"

Yessir, sounds like a nice gentle, 'unifying' program presented in Islam alright!

I'm glad you've adopted a different view than is presented by Glorious Koran and the Haddith!

Lavender, I am a staunch Christian, yet have many Muslim friends back home.

Yes, there are differences and similarities, but the important question is, "Who is Jesus?" Do you personally know Him?? One does not have to start with the belief that Jesus is God's son (I didn't as a little boy, I thought only God the Father who is a spirit is to be worshiped as Jesus taught), yet Jesus proves it to us otherwise -- that He is the one true revelation of Almighty God Himself.

One interesting verse in the Bible is that even the spirits and demons know Jesus to be God's only son, and they shudder before Him. Yet, do they have faith... are they saved? No, definitely not, if you read the Bible...

Peace,
Andrew

I knew this, they are very similar to Christians, but then again, no one ever said that they didn't believe in Jesus. People just assume these days without actually looking into the situation.

Yes I am aware there are lots of similarities. The biggest difference is in our beliefs of how to achieve Paradise. You have your beliefs and as a Christian I have mine. That being that only the blood of Jesus can get you to Heaven. Belief in His death and Resurrection. Glad you believe in Him. It is nice to see that people from different religions and faiths can get along. Thanks for your question and have a great day!

I'm assuming you are Muslim? I think it would be great if all religions could come together and support each other. I think it is great that you are getting the true positive information out there. Rock on girl!

I would believe that IF the Muslims stopped trying to get the world to hate Israel. Since that's not likely, what you say is typical to what Islam does; rhetorical inaccuracy when it comes to the Bible.
