Well, i bought some pretty good cigars and i just realized that there are no holes in them. does anyone have a good idea on how to get one in them without having to buy one? How would people have made a hole before it was invented?

People are missing the point. If I'm understanding correctly, you want to punch a hole in it, not cut the end off. Bullet punch is the obvious easy way to do this. A great way, if you can afford it, is to buy the Swiss Army knife with the three surgical steel punches in it so you never have to look for one. I would not use a screwdriver b/c you may mess up the natural rolling that occurred with the leaves. You need something sharp. Honestly, you could probably just take a knife and cut slightly into the cigar in a circular motion. Aside from that, it will be a bit tricky. As much as it seems you don't want to, I would just suggest buying a cheap one from the local cigar shop just for easiness sake. Good luck.

For future reference, if you really bought a "pretty good cigar" you got it from a dealer not a drug store or gas station. A dealer will gladly pierce or trim a cigar you buy from them so it is ready to smoke when you are ready to smoke it.
For that cigar you have now, though, a very sharp knife or good scissors can be used to cut off about 1/8 - 1/4 of the end to make it ready to light up. "Biting" a good smoke only works well in the movies and is at best a last resort.

Yes. 1. If pressure is not sufficient, skin will tear off with little cartilage damage. On healing scar remains. 2. If pressure is sufficient, the hole will be formed with profuse bleeding. It cant be healed, but leaves a hole inside. 3. As the ear is sensitive part for a girl, u loose the pleasure permanently. 4. U need hospitalisation 5. U don't look nice 6. Need bandage for long time 7. Other ear will be intact, because of this costly lesson

WHOA WHOA WHOA! Hold on. If theres no hole in it you dont need one! Only certain cigars you smoke like that. Look at the tip theres gonna be a part called the cap! Youll notice it its only like a few cm in. Take a cigar cutter or something where you can get a quick smooth and straight cut and cut before that cap, light up and enjoy

People ususally just bite it. Haven't you seen the A-Team? Hannibal Smith always bites his cigars. You're just supposed to skin off the wrapping leaf, not take a bit chunk out of the cigar though.
If that fails, you can try using a very thick nail or ice pick-like object.
