Note that I do NOT wine (I know that is haram LOL!)
Just the glasses.

I use wine glasses, when I have dinner parties etc because I think they are elequent and look nice.

However I'm not sure if they are allowed because aren't we not meant to immitate the 'haram' So would using wine glasses be seen as immitating drinking wine?

No wine glasses are not haram. I use them all the time. As long as u dont drink alcohol in them. lol

So it's come to this? Not only can't you drink wine but you can't drink anything out of a wine goblet for fear you're imitating someone drinking wine?

Religion...ya' gotta' love it...and people have the temerity to ask why I'm a non-believer?

not at all!!
its just called a "wine" glass and people perfer to serve wine in it.

They probably aren't. As long as you aren't drinking wine, I don't think it would be haraam.
