and for people like kay, the first answerer, I am asking for a phonectic spelling, so please don't give me a condescending answer before thinking about what I am asking. Thanks!

Oooh!

This looks like fun! I love spelling phonetically!

DOH-been-neh

-Long ee's on the "been" and a short on the "neh". The emphasis on the first syllable. That's the best I can do.

Any more?

Dobiñ
In the case of French you should hear it. Writing it does not help much

according to this:

it is dōbēnyā'
the name has an acute accent on the "e" (l'accent aigu in french)
d'Aubigné, thus the long "a" sound.

D'aubigne should sound like Doh-bean.

D'o- bih-niah'... read it fast though. the "a" between the "i" and the "h" is very short.
