If you really want to know, the Rapture will take place in Revelation chapter 14:14-16; after the appearance of Antichrist (Chapter 13; compare II Thessalonians chapter 2); but before the Wrath of God (Revelation 14:17ff; compare I Thessalonians 5:9) - but don't tell anyone I told you!!

The bible does talk about a rapture of the church before a 7 year period of tribulation. Whoever said otherwise is mistaken. The Left Behind series is fiction, is true, but the biblical messages of the series are true. No one knows when the rapture will happen but the bible is very clear about what happens after the rapture. People will be left Behind, the anti-christ will rise and be assassinated and rise again after three days, at this point he will be indwelt by satan (satan uses body as a human coat) and he will institute the mark and force people to worship him or die for next three and a half years until the battle of Armageddon at which Jesus returns and personally defeats evil just by HIS words. After that happens final judgements will occour and he will REIGN AS KING OF EARTH FOR 1000 YEARS. During that time if a person is born he or she will have to choose Christ or go to hell by their 100th year of life. After the 1000 years heaven will be opened for eternal use by believers.

The rapture won't happen. Everybody will go through the tribulation as a test for even the "faithful" to see exactly how loyal they are to God. As for when the apocalypse will start, I'm thinking 2012, but I'm more than likely to be wrong.

I personally believe in a pre-tribulation rapture and I believed it long before the left behind series came out. When the rapture will occur is not specifically mentioned in the Bible. In fact the word rapture is not used. However if you look through the Bible you see God taking his people out before destruction and before judgment on sinners. Whenever it takes place if I am alive I intend to go.

All of the prophesies that foretell of Christians being 'caught up' have been fulfilled. At NO OTHER period in history can this be said. (I add this for those who will try to say that the rapture is never going to happen and people have been saying it's coming for hundreds of years.) The generation that saw Israel again become a nation is said shall not pass away before Christ returns. SOOOO!!! Time is so close! I have been saying since 2003 that I think it will be before 2013. Not sure what you are referring to with the 1st 2nd or 3rd? Please explain a little more.

First will come the tribulation--Satan's final all-out effort to proclaim himself "Christ" and to be worshipped and to kill all who refuse to take his mark. Immediately after the tribulation will come the rapture of God's people, and immediately after the rapture God will pour out His wrath on the unbelievers who remain. The first link below should be helpful for you.

What difference does this make? If you believe in the "rapture" and are ready to go, then all will be well with you. There is so much talk of the "rapture" and the end times. But what we are doing here and now is so much more important!!...Blessings!

The rapture could occur anytime. Sorry, never heard of three tribulations, only one that will follow the rapture.

Rapture is a fable dreamed up by a guy to mislead the church. Rapture is not in the Bible nor any form of the word found in the Scriptures.
Plus the Bible even warns us of this tale....
2 Timothy 4:3-4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto FABLES.
