I'll be deploying overseas for the second time soon. I've been having Iraq dreams almost every night. It's becoming stressful...even though I don't worry about it while I'm awake.

First of all, I want to say thank you for defending our country and helping to provide freedom throughout the world. Thank you!!!

Without any details, it is hard to interpret these dreams. But being you asked how you can stop reoccuring dreams, I'll try my best to answer that.

I truly believe that reoccuring dreams are a message sent "urgent" to the receiver. Be cautious and pay close attention to it. I don't know of any way to stop these types of dreams from happening. They only stop when the dream comes true or circumstances chance to prevent the dream to come true.

I hope that these dreams that you are having is of a good nature. I will be praying for your safe return from Iraq as I have a brother-in-law who is soon to be deployed to Iraq as well.

According to Dreamcrowd:

To be in or see a battle in your dream, suggests that you are overworked. You need to give yourself a break. There is a conflict between your rational thinking and your irrational impulses. Alternatively, it represents eroticism. You may be overly stimulated or you are trying to suppress your instinctual urges.

Well, they're your dreams, so just maybe when they get too depressing or stressful you could wake yourself up. That's what I do. In the middle of a dream I just tell myself to awaken. You dream during REM sleep [partially awakening state], not when you're in a deep sleep state.

At a element i began having this targets/actual of a guy whose face is on no account shown includes me in mattress and tries to press me all the way down to my blacket if i attempt to make a pass or scream, he makes me susceptible and immobile. It befell for 3 months that I have been given used to that, understanding he would be coming each night to tomment me. on the different hand I even have on no account seen my ex nor theory approximately him for as quickly as yet yet my I saved having those targets. finally I have been given decrease back to him and the targets stopped and that i ultimately broke up with him and my finished night has been non violent. So what am attempting to assert is regardless of in case you're nonetheless offended at your ex, your soul isn't and it nonetheless connects with him because of the certainty which you adult adult males could desire to have shared some sturdy love earlier you broke up. attempt and meet somebody else and distract your self and attempt to spend the night with him to stay away from it. Your heart is made with him yet your soul which leaves in the midst of the night nonetheless call him. comparable with him too.

You feel, guilty not for deploying but for the people who are there. Or you could feel stressed. You need to find your inner peace.
