She was a solid D and had to have a reduction.
She took it down to a B.
Good luck!

Height has nothing to do with the way your breast size is affecting you. The weight of your breasts will affect your back and neck no matter how tall or short you are. If you are seriously considering a reduction, a good plastic surgeon will make sure you look proportioned.

I'm a 38 year old with Spina Bifida, I'm 4'11" I'm 38DD and yesterday I just had my first consultation with a plastic surgeon and he asked me questions, then he talked about what he will do, then he asked me what size I was going for and I said b. So he takes me into this room and he had me take off my shirt and bra he took some measurements and told me what he thought I should be he told me medium b or small c.
Not sure what is better, please help me ease my mind? Thank you

You should talk to your PS about what size you'd like to go to. If you are slender a large B or small C or even an average B would look nice on you.
You can get this covered by insurance, so I'd have consultations with at least three PS's before you decide on who to have operate on you.
Check out this board as well, there is a TON of information and support there for you.

I'm 5'0 and I'm a 34B, but my sister is 5'1 and she's a 34D, too. She's normal for her size, it doesn't look grotesque or anything. If it's hindering your back and neck, you might want to consider a reduction. After all, it's for your health and you may be glad in the future.

Surgery is brutal as well as irreversible. Invest in a great bra and have it professionally fitted. Breasts change, size, shape as you age due to hormones weight loss or gain, pregnancy, nursing. I'm also slender, lot of my life very thin and a 34 DD. Wasn't always that way, things changed after 2 babies and wt. gain. Recently had surgery for breast cancer and the fact I had a lot of tissue was favorable.

Before drastic surgery I would try to exercise the upper body and core to see if that extra strength helps. I have D breasts and I have been athletic most of my life, I have no pain.

22 and already experiencing back and neck pain. the size (and weight) of your breasts may not be the problem. you mention you have a slender build. do you exercise regularly? eat right? are the bras you wear a proper fit, ( or are you focused on style)?
muscles in your abdomen and lower back, in addition to good posture, may hold the key to your concerns and pain.
i offered this solely to get you thinking about alternatives prior to going under the knife. please think about it.

Yes I know I'm a bit young but If I was in your position I would reduce them..why life with the pain if you have options??
