Try to lose weight steadily, it is healthier and long term you'll have more success

1) Get rid of all the junk food, snacks and soda drinks

2) Eat steam food, vegies and fruits

3) have 5-6 healthy meals a day (1 plate portions) to control your cravings. If you do have cravings, drink water or eat fruits!

4) Drink plenty of water of green tea

5) Exercise, look at running or walking or swimming. Join an aerobics class. At least go walking for a 30 minutes a day and increase it overtime

6) get your family involved, and eat the same thing as you. They will be your support group. Ask your parents to buy healthy food.

7) Set an action plan and have goals to ose weight steadily. Start with small goals and over time increase your goals.

Your weight shifting is probably just water. There's nothing much you can do about that.
Since you want to lose less than 10 pounds in 3 weeks just eat a balanced diet low fat diet. Instead of 3 large meals a day eat 5 to 6 small meals. If your going to eat carbs makesure you're eating complex carbs. Makesure your Calorie intake is below 2000 a day. Go jogging or biking everyday and do some cardio.

I won't monkey around. I will get to the point. There are more diets than ever and more people dieting than ever and yet we have the fattest society ever. So a lot of these ideas about losing weight, make you fatter. Cutting calories, carbs and fats can cause you to have a weight problem for life.

It is better to eat differently. See site below and learn why meat and non-fat yogurt are so fattening. Also salt has no calories but makes you fat. See this page first with advice for teenage girls. Then click on the home page.

According to the National Heart Lung & Blood Institute, your weight is normal relative to your height. You can go to their website to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI). Their page has additional links that might interest you.

Keep in mind that losing weight too rapidly can seriously damage your body. In addition, diets like the Atkins diet are popular yet totally unhealthy (the Atkins diet can increase acid levels in your blood to unsafe levels, putting you in hospital). It's very important that young people not subject themselves to fad diets. You wouldn't want to starve yourself of some vital nutrient and end up losing all your hair or something in a few years, eh?

Find some kind of sport you're interested in. Bikes are still cool, and they get you places too. Screw what other people at school think. You can visit them later in the hospital when they're all feeble and hospitalized from dieting.

well the best diet to lose weight fast is a low carb diet. if you stop drinking soda, and completely. I don't mean drink diet soda, because that containg sodium that will cause you to retain water. low carb intake, slow down on pastas and breads, if possible eat wheat bread, ans there is also a wheat pasta that is pretty good. Also eat lots of protien, tuna, skinless chicken breast. don't get me wrong don't completely stop eating carbs, becasue your body needs carbs for energy, but don't eat more than you are going to use. also eat fruit apples, cherries, grapefruit. these things speed up your metabolism. try this and you will loose 5-8 lbs in a week

You need to exercise 60-90 minutes for substantial weight loss...and that's per day.

I'm about the same height as you, and 130 is about my right weight. But it's different for everyone because of their builds.

drink a lot of tea (mostly green and oolong),get rid of all your unhealthy foods so that it's not an option, don't eat after 7 o'clock., don't drink any drinks with high sugar content (soda ect.), don't eat any meat besdes eggs or fish, boil mostly all the foods u cook, only eat when ur hungry. all this works for me whenevr i feel too heavy. it's not bad for you either. it makes me lose like 3 pounds each time in like 2 days. i lost like 8 pounds with this in a week. i'm not one much for exercise, but if you can do it, that would definately be better for you and get you tone a lot better.
