i remember there was a white car
and the race car driver had black hair and wore a white suit and i dont remember anything else i was very little when it was aired my mom said i used to watch even when i was a baby i would stare at the screen and watch it

there ya go! Speedracer has his own website. It should tell you all that you need to know about the cartoon! I used to watch it too..but seems like it was way before the time you indicated. Maybe it had a revival but I just didn't realize it.

That show was called Speed Racer, with Racer X and his long lost brother, that show used to be seen several years ago on MTV. I have most of the episodes from that series.
