During my parents divorce. My mom was fighting with my dad on the phone. I got upset and ran to my Taekwondo school. My instructor was on the phone at the time and got her husband's attention. I ran to him ( there was no class) and he told me that he would never let anyone hurt me. His wife got off the phone and she said come here, She held me while i was crying. She said that while her and her husband was there no one can hurt me. I said Why are they fighting. They said sometimes parents fight. I am like Please dont leave me. They also said dont worry we arent going to leave you. But there was kids coming in for a class. My male instructor said take her and talk to her. Maybe you can tell her its alright. I am like no its not. I don't like it. I still have a Taekwondo teddy bear that my female instructor gave me. She's like if they are fighting and we aren't there to help you out just give this bear a hug and know that we care about you and that you are also like a daughter to us.

The biggest thing you have got to know here
is : THEY ARE NOT MAD AT YOU.
The second thing you've got to know is;
THIS DIVORCE IS NOT YOUR FAULT.

Sorry for the shouting, but those things are important for you to know and hold on to.
Your parents will both continue to love you.
They are both hurting right now, and may act strange. - It's not aimed at you.
If your senseis are close to you, and able to make
you feel better, talk to them. They sound like good people. But they are not "extra parents".
Remember to talk to your parents as well.
If they know how bad you feel, they will keep their
fighting more to themselves.
