I tried Crest whitening, the affect was very powerful, I can feel it's corrosive, it actually hurts my finger when I tried to put into my mouth, it did whiten a few shades, but my teeth hurts like I was zaped by jolts of electric currents. Is there anything I can do to desensitize it, would it be less sensitive if I let my dentist bleach them?

Ive used them before as well, and though I dont have super sensitive teeth. I know what your talking about! Try using the literine whitening rinse. It has the same ingredients as whitening strips, but much less painful because its not sticking to your teeth for a half hour! You can also try whitening toothpaste, or the kind of strips you only have to use for 5 minutes a day. hope this helps!

I think that Sensodyne has a whitening toothpaste. I know from experience that Sensodyne toothpaste does work to make teeth less sensitive.
