It is a church with beautiful traditions and rituals. It's not some fly-by-night church that was only founded in the past century, but rather, is quite ancient with a very long history. It is a serene faith, and teaches a very strong belief in God. Also, it's a church that is committed to practicing Christian charity. Catholic charitable organizations are operating around the world, helping to relieve suffering, heal the sick, and aid the homeless.

Yes, the Bible states that the Church is the "Bulwark and ground of the truth."
It is the Church created by Christ and all other churches are man made.
It is the Church that has the fullness of faith and practice where the Sacraments are received bestowing Divine grace and the only place where one may receive the Eucharist and Christ said that unless one eats of His Body and Drinks His Blood there is no life in them.

The Church traces it's origin back to the time of Christ.
It consistantly follows the teaching of the apostles.
It is still the one largest group of Christians in the world.
It's teachings & practices are thoroughly documented.
You can go anywhere in the world & join in worship.

Jesus Christ came and died for our sins. He established his Church through the Apostles who have faithfully handed down the faith as given by Christ (who is the Head of the Catholic Church). Simply put, because it's true and "and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." [Jn 8:32]

For me, it was finally finding and joining THE Church that Christ founded, and finding unity with Him. It was finally learning the Faith as it was meant to be learned. It was finally discovering the Truth. I used to be a protestant and I can tell you right now they completely miss the boat. I used to miss that same boat too, but not anymore (thank God). The Church is home, and I'm so glad I found Her.
God bless.

I can't think of any.
Oh, wait...
1. You enjoy being made to feel shame and guilt over being human
2. You look forward to confessing your "sins" to someone who's no closer to God than you are. Ever hear of "cutting out the middleman?" This is a good place to start.
I could go on, but I think you get the idea.

None!! You need to read the New Testament to see which church goes strictly by the Bible. If the church belongs to Christ, that church follows the blue print found in the Bible.
I am a member of the churches of Christ, and please check out the churches of Christ for yourself. God Bless you!!

To Robert S: You need a church history lesson. Christ did not found the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church was around until AD 300-400. When the Catholic Church started, it was called the Universal Church. Apostle Peter was never a pope. The word pope isn't in God's Word of the Holy Bible.
