I believe that the Earths climates go in cycles. I am not saying for sure that there is not global warming but I believe that it would be really hard to prove that it is actually global warming and not weather patterns that the Earth was meant to have.

The earth's climate has always run in cycles. The fact that we are in a warmer one now after having been in a cold "mini ice age" as some have called it, does not mean that we are entering global warming or are destroying our planet. Also people that use poor weather as evidence really need to check their history. There have been really bad storms and huricanes throughout history. Just because the last couple years have had more severe ones then the few years before it does not mean that we are going through some catastrophic climate changes. I've read that the ozone whole is shrinking because of the fact that they outlawed cfc's, but it is doubtful that we could have had much of an effect on it that quickly, and like this that was a bunch of environmental alarmists looking for attention, and a few others looking to make a lot of money.

I'm a physicist, I have 3 main problems with it:
1) I don't agree with the entire greenhouse gas effect (as generally understood). All gases (including oxygen and nitrogen) which scatter any form of electromagnetic radiation from the sun heat the atmosphere, there is absolutely nothing special about CO2 in this regard.
2) CO2 makes up less than 1% of earth's atmosphere, can a 10% increase really have any significant effect? I doubt it but could be convinced.
3) From day 1, this was a political issue, not a scientific one. I hear all the time that there is a universal consensus among scientists that global warming is real. I'm a scientist, I doubt the man-made aspect of it and I feel as though I'm in the majority.
That said, the earth is warming very slightly. But mars is warming too and I've heard, although I cannot vouch for the accuracy, that other planets are warming too. Makes me wonder ;-)
I honestly could be convinced if I saw some real evidence to back up the environmentalists claims, but I have yet to see it and it isn't due to a lack of searching on my part.

Scientific analysis of data shows clear signs that global warming ended sometime in 1999 or 2000.
The oceans have been cooling for the last 3 or 4 years.
Antarctica has shown no warming over the modern era.
Atlantic hurricane wind speed has been on the decline for the last 50 years.
Concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere are out of phase with changes in near surface temperatures, for short, long and very long term historical measurements.
The troposphere shows no longterm sustained warming within the time period of human contribution of CO2 to the armosphere.
And last but not least by the simple physical fact that:
"Even if the CO2 concentrations in the air were doubled, its greenhouse effect would be cancelled by a mere 1 percent rise in cloudiness"

Obviously, Global Warming is occuring. So maybe its not caused 100 percent by humans but it is definately excelerated by us. We cannot deny that the earth is warming up and its a fact that the polar icecaps are melting. Although we cannot directly do anything to change that, we can, however, live more "earth friendly." We only need to make small lifestyle changes that help the planet and in the longrun, it helps out mankind. I don't mean anything drastic such as installing solar panels on your house but recycling, not littering, and being overall conscious of our waste production. It makes you feel better and know that you are making a difference.

Global warming is considered as increase in the temperature in the climatic change but not in the weather change. climatic change in raising temperature takes many years and may not be certain but weather conditions are local and may shuffle according to the seasons. That is why USA is not believing that the global warming is not a real problem and not spending the funds to control it

Global warming is happening, it got us out of the ice age. But there's no solid proof it's warming because of humans. It's been warming for thousands of years. The Earth's cycles change all the time, warm and cool regardless.

Reasons to NOT believe?
My mind doesn't work that way...or at least it hasn't worked that way since I was a child.
I have to be given reasons to believe. So far, most of it is unconvincing. Meanwhile, the obvious politicization of the science, the attempts to "end debate", especially by those who are in no way qualified to render a scientific opinion, give plenty of reasons to doubt. Throw in all the horror hyperbole that is ENCOURAGED by many in the scientific community, the scientists turned social engineers in addition to the newly created discipline of climate engineers, the multi-trillion dollar century programs...and it downright STINKS of scam.
