You do not have to file a separate return. Your activity of your business is reflected on Schedule C of Form 1040. There is also a line to enter your federal id number for your business.

No. A sole proprietor files Schedule C (and usually Schedule SE) with their Form 1040 to claim the income and business expenses. The fact that you have an EIN won't change how you file your return.
