What is the telephone code you dial to call ....?

Someone in New Zealand, when you live in the USA?
I can't figure it out.
My best friend lives in New Zealand, but we can't figure out how to call each other because of the connection code thingy.
I have their number, and YES I do have MSN messenger.

You will need to dial 001 (the code to dial internationally) then 64 (the New Zealand country code) then the area code (for example Auckland's is 9) and finally the 7 digit house number.

So for example

001 64 x xxxxxxx

If you don't know the area code for wherever your friend lives, you can find it on this site:
http://www.countrycallingcodes.com/results.php?FromCode=United+States&ToCode=New+Zealand&Submit.x=16&Submit.y=19
Ask your friend what city he or she lives in, then select it from the dropdown list and click "Submit". It will give you the area code. Auckland's is 9, Wellington's is 4, Christchurch's is 3, etc. etc.

You have to dial +011-64 - and then the number ;);)
