allow yourself a SHORT nap, then go about the day as it is in your arrival destination and go to sleep at your regular bedtime (at the time it is in japan). You should feel fine the next day.

I think when you get out of the airport get alot of fresh air, like on the way to the hotel or whatever roll down the windows. Then drink some water, wash your face, and sleep as long as you need to. I always do that whenever I travel from America to Iran. Good luck! :]

Once you get on the plane, adjust your watch to show the local time of your desination. From then on, try to watch a movie, read a book or magazine, work oin puzzles during the daytime hours of your destination. The day after you arrive, watch a movie or do some daytime shopping to ride over the sleepiness.
