Okay well I only eat one meal a day. I'm a sophomore in High School and I skip breakfast and lunch. It's not forced, I just don't get hungry until the afternoon. It's really weird. Then when I do eat dinner it's usually a sandwhich with some chips. Usually those Goldfish things. Why do I always feel disgusting and fat after I eat that? That's all I eat. Plus I excersise every day for 40-50 minutes. I went down from a Medium to a Small in my shirt size. But whenever I look in the mirror I always see myself as wide, fat, etc. Yet everyone tells me I'm skinny and/or really thin. What is my problem?

nope that is not weird at all cuz i do the same thing, but i try to force something down at breakfast, even though i gag just because that is the most important meal of the day, but no that is not a problem unless u throw it up and also when u eat breakfast u get more energy and lose weight more easily, but if u wear a small size shirt then u r skinny and i don't care if u see ur self that way because for a fact u r skinny and i swear on the life of me that if u wear size small then u r skinny

Anorexia nervosa (say “an-uh-RECK-see-uh nur-VOH-suh”) is a type of eating disorder. People who have anorexia have an intense fear of gaining weight. They severely limit the amount of food they eat and can become dangerously thin.

Anorexia affects both the body and the mind. It may start as dieting, but it gets out of control. You think about food, dieting, and weight all the time. You have a distorted body image. Other people say you are too thin, but when you look in the mirror, you see a fat person.

Anorexia can become a lifelong problem. If it is not treated, it can lead to starvation and serious health problems, such as bone thinning (osteoporosis), kidney damage, and heart problems. Some people die from these problems.

It kind of depends on your age, height, and gender. But if you think you look fat when nobody else does and you hardly eat you are on your way to the disease anorexia. It is a seriouse problem and you should talk to someone you really trust and then see your doctor or health clinic someone will be able to help you.

It sounds like you may be anorexic, It is a serious illness and you really need a good support system (family, friends).
Is your family aware you feel this way about yourself? Don't try to hide you feelings about yourself in front of others. Telling people can only help you. There is nothing wrong with you feeling this way, but you need to learn to love your body...it's the only one you get.

there is nothing wrong wit you other than your afraid of being the out cast, per pressure. you have a lot on your mind and that can affect your desire to eat.Things like do you have a girl friend, lot of studying, how popular you are, your grades, parents, work,ect.. getting smaller when not eating properly is normal. you do need to keep track of what your eating and how much cause it can become a health issue. but from what you say your fine.

You should eat more fruits and vegetables if you want to stay healthy.

I don't know why you don't feel hungry more often, but if you think that you are fat when your friends say that you are skinny, you are probably have anorexia, and you need counseling.

You sure you're not anorexic? It's not just girls you know. Seriously, dude. You should tell someone. It's not healthy. Or if you don't want to do that, change your exercise into lifting weights. That ought to make you hungry at least. Don't just ignore this, you honestly need to get yourself checked out.

im not an expert, but it sounds to me like its all in your head. Your body doesnt want to eat because your telling it not to eat. And your eyes tell u that ur fat because you think that your fat. So you see what you think you are.
