Sincere in what they beliefs?

Question

How much people do think are REALLY sincere in what they believe? I mean really and truly, are SINCERE about their belief's? In particular in today's world? Because I get the feeling that belief's in this day and are almost . . .disopable. Pick up and drop off, when needed or convient. With BASHING ANYONE HARD?! PLEASE! What do you think?

I think there are a significant number of people who sincerely believe. However, the number of people who allow this belief to affect the way they conduct themselves daily is probably much smaller. It does seem true that many people pick up belief and faith when they need it, but these people still usually truly believe. The thing about these "believe when it's convenient people" is that they want the benefits of the belief, they just don't want the ramifications it induces on their behavior. If one could keep his focus on his beliefs all the time, then the number of people who believe and act upon it would greatly increase.

I not only hold dear to my religious beliefs, I also practice them. That, in my eyes, is what separates the true believers of a particular Fayth and the 'fair weather' believers.

sometime i tried darn hard to believe that God / Angel and stuff exist.

I also hope Alien exist.

then again theres a high possibility none of them exist.

btw , most of the cultures in our modern world are directly related to their own respective religion.

if all were to be converted to a single religion , there wouldnt be 'culture' anymore.
