If a judgment has been filed, the court date is already past. When someone sues you for money and you lose, the court enters a judgment against you. If you do not appear in court when sued, you lose by default.

You DONT have to go, but if you do not the judgement will AUTOMATICALLY be against you, so basically by not going you are admitting defeat! As far as "and will is a judgement" I am assuming (I know, I know to assume is to make an a$$ of you and me... lol) that you are asking if a will is a judgement? A will is usually beneficial of you so therefore I couldn't see fighting a will, it is also as far as I am aware non negotiable... if that wasn't your question just ignore my schpeel here... lol, but No, you don't have to go to court for a judgement but you will lose if you do not!
