I can say that most of my patient's have had some measure of success with the Crest Whitestrips, some more than others. Our office uses the Supreme which are 4 times stronger than what you can get in the store, but the others will work as well but take more time and possibly more than one kit. I am also hearing that patients like the Aquafresh whitening trays ( http://www.aquafresh.com/whitetrays/....... ). The results are usually pretty quick, noticeable in the first few days, best in a week or longer. If you can, do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar, plaque, or orthodontic cement) will impede their ability to work. Also, don't use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). You should not drink or eat anything dark for at least 1/2 hour after using the strips.
The strips/trays are your least costly whitening method as compared to custom made trays or in office whitening ($500.00+) All of the methods (strips, trays, custom trays, in office whitening) have the potential to make your teeth temporarily sensitive, but will not harm the enamel. If you get sensitive use the product every other day in conjunction with a sensitive tooth toothpaste. You might try to drink dark liquids through a straw and don't smoke. Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective. Whatever method you use it will not whiten your teeth for life, as you age your teeth will get darker and may need to be whitened again.
Good luck!

Well there are a few ways u can whiten your teeth. First you can go to a dentist and get it lasered and that can make them up to 8 shades whiter(i work at a dentist office) but the laser can be up to like 700.00. Or we do trays which is about 300.00 and it makes them about 5 shades lighter in 7 days but gel once a day for about a hour...So ask your Dentist or find one in your area. Or you can get the strips but they can make your teeth very sensitive so watch out for that. Or do it in a timely manner for cheap and buy whitening pre rinse wash and whitening tooth paste and use that. Well i hope this helps alittle.

Are you sure you have yellow teeth? Just because your 4-year-old colored your teeth yellow in a picture doesn't mean they really are yellow. Perhaps your 4-year-old didn't have a white crayon or simply doesn't like the color white because it doesn't show up.

Although I've never tried it, ZOOM! whitening is an option. I heard it hurts a little, though. http://www.zoomnow.com/
There are also Crest Whitestrips, whitening toothpaste, and tray whitening kits. I hope I helped!

See a dentist. You might have a health problem. Watch out for some of the whitening products since they can weaken the enamel.
