I wouldn't let him! He is a God fearing Muslim, I know he is on the right path InshaAllah.
May God guide us all on the straight path InshaAllah.

My girlfriend and I have been together for a long time, and she is involved in a religion that's different from mine (she joined that religion after we'd already been together for several years). But she's her own person, and must make her own decisions regarding her spirituality. If she were to convert to a faith that I was strongly opposed to (I'm trying to think of what that faith would be, offhand), then that's her business. I could give advice, and could tell her my own opinion about it, but it's not as if I can make decisions for her. She has to choose for herself.

It would depend on whether he tried to force the belief on me, and on whether I felt it was harmful.
