My friend got a bizarre text on her phone, and sent it me to have a look. We both think it could be African, if it is can anyone tell me what it translatses to please?
Mukwano webare nnyo ebintu byaffe byewatuwereza. Mukwano njagala mukama, kugumye oleme kutya. Naffe katukusabire bamugumu. Bye mukwano nkwagaliza mirembe kyoka.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well, some snooping around with Google
seems to indicate that your text comes from Uganda.
Also, it's definitely in the Bantu group.
That reduces the number of languages from 500 to
about 19.
The 3 major ones are Luganda, Lusoga and
Runyankole.
Then I googled "ebintu byaffe" and finally
hit paydirt. Our mystery language is most
certainly Luganda.
I then found an online dictionary, but was only
able to locate some of the words. Here are
the ones in the dictionary:
mukwano = friend
nnyo = much or many
ebintu byaffe = our property
wereza = to send
njagala = I would like
mukama= boss, manager
kutya = fear, being afraid, respect
mirembe = peace
Sorry couldn't find the rest. Will keep looking!

Bantu language family for sure. That only leaves 500 languages to pick from! I think it's probably Luganda, Runyankole or something closely related, but no guarantees. Mukwano= friend, webare = thank you.

African is not a language. But it could be an African language. Just report it to the carrier if you feel threatened or harrassed by it, or it cost you money. It might be Swahili though.

Africa is a continent, not a country. I am african from Nigeria. In Nigeria alone, there are over 250 native languages but this is just one in one country. Although, it sounds like a country from west africa. There are sixteen of them. Good luck

properly, technically, no person speaks "AFRICAN". There are languages from worldwide places in Africa, like Swahili or Kenyan. i'm specific most of the tribes had their own languages as properly. there are lots of "African" languages.

Well, good luck. But there is no language called "African". There are probably thousands of tribal dialects spoken in Africa.
