Whenever I turn on my digital camera, it will not let me take pictures, view saved pictures, or anything. The only thing that happens is on the screen "Card is Not Formatted" appears and it asks me if I want to Format it or No......

....when I put no, it says "You may now turn off your Camera".....

When I remove my memory card, it doesn't do this. How Can i get it to stop without formatting my car, which erases all my pictures?

I assume there are pictures on the memory card you want. Don't do anything to the card or you may lose those images. Try this website http://www.photosrecovery.com/ or google search "recover lost pictures in a digital camera" and you will find utilities that can restore lost images. Afterwards, tell the camera to format the memory card.

I deleted all images on a memory card once and got one of these utilities. It worked and restored most of the deleted files.

After you have recovered the fles, be sure to format the memory card (with the camera) again.

Just put all the pictures on your card into your computer, then format the card in your camera.

Try answering "YES" instead of "NO" and see if that helps.
