for a 49 year old woman? education is a ged also 12 years factory experience and experience as a cashier in grocery store.my health does not permit heavy lifting any more.i really loved my last job but i was wrongly fired and my so called union reps only care about themselves and their friends.its funny how little the truth matters to most people unless it affects them in some way!i am not going to college i cannot afford it,i live in michigan.any ideas?thank you for your help.

i would looking into a job in retail as a cashier or sit down job answer phones maybe.

I would still say go to a trade school or career college, if you are under a certain income level, you could possibly go to school for free, even for something like medical assistant, paralegal, court reporter etc, there are sooo many things that can raise you income if you just become qualified, most of these you can do in less than a year. If you are still against it, I suggest looking for entry level jobs online like craigslist, or your local newspaper. Try an employment agency. Good luck
