questions .... someone asked a quesiton the other day about what underwear Jesus would have worn and I answered that, if he were alive, then he would wear aussiebum underwear because they are really comfy... but I got a violation notice for that answer!

Now.... I realise that some of you may not agree that aussiebum underwear is comfy.. but am I not entitled to voice my opinion in this world wide forum without some crackpot tagging my answer with a violation notice?

Secondly, what is so offensive about the answer? Really some people are so self righteous they really do need to read their bibles to find out what it really means to judge others! What do you think ~ have they forgotten their faith or are they simply bitter and twisted meglomaniacs with a botton that they can push ~ it's like an addiction to poker machines for them?

Well Thricey... I shopped for my wardrobe full online... 'cause I get a little discount through Men's Health Magazine subscription this month. You can see the whole range at http//:aussiebum.com.au . the models are true blue aussie men ... BTW.. pretty sure Jesus would approve of them too.

Well, first you're gonna have to send me a pair so I can make a fair assessment of the quality of the under ware in question!

And, I'm going with "Simply Bitter and Twisted" for $1,000 Alex!

EDIT: ahhh....i'm the only one who got a thumbs down. I'd cry....but I'm a big girl now!

....looks like we all got a visit from the thumbs down idiot....

I don't have a clue what the Aussiebum undies are like, but as a Christian, I would never think of that as an offensive answer. Having been off the forum for a few days, my first thought was I would have thought Jesus would be a boxer man, but without knowing about Aussiebums, how can I make an educated guess? I am looking them up right now. I may edit my answer if the Aussiebums are everything they are cracked up to be.

Most people cannot handle power. I find that the most effective way of seeing that is watching someone with his or her child. Does he let the kid be a kid? Is there constant punishment? Does he become intensely angry when his 3 year-old (shocker!) throws a tantrum? And does he/she do all of this because he is finally in a position of power and he cannot help but lord it over someone defenseless?

Much of the religious are on a power trip. That button does absolutely no good for anyone and people have brought that to the violations review board and got nothing back from Yahoo. Surprise, surprise. I try to let my Christian friends know that I do not mean to insult them when I 'generalize' Christianity, but the majority here aren't quite like them. Open-minded. Progressive. Liberal. Cookie?

Oops. Freudian slip. I think your response to the question was wonderful. Was the question deleted too? I personally have never worn Aussiebum underwear and I am jealous. I want comfy undies as well. Do you think you can send some over to America? If you do I'll give you a nice strip tease in them. ;-)

I honestly don't think there's anything wrong with it.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say if Jesus were alive today and on Answers, He'd probably pick up a violation within minutes.

The sad part is it would probably be a Christian reporting Him.

I wonder what His username would be, and what His avatar might look like.

I remember that question...it has gotten to the point that I am afraid to answer any question here...because I will get a violation for it...I am so disgusted... All the people here reporting others for NOTHING, have sunk to a "NEW" low...The troll patrol was out in the open this afternoon...for about 1/2 hour....and alot of people I am sure will get those violation notices...Its just not a very nice place here anymore...
All people are out to do is:
STAB THE OTHER PERSON IN THE
BACK...AND THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO
BE YOUR FRIENDS...
I am just disgusted beyond words...

I don't think they were wearing underwear in those days. Jesus was probably wearing a tunic with nothing underneath. That part of the middle east is very warm and a breeze is always refreshing. I see nothing wrong with your questions. People who report you are just JesusFreaks (religious nuts), don't let such ignoramuses bother you.

Well I actually gave you a thumbs up on that answer (as I do to all your answers) and saw nothing wrong with it.

That is exactly why I'm afraid to answer questions with my real strong opinions. And am very careful of the questions I do answer (call me picky).

You are loved here Gazpacho so no worries about the knuckleheads that are jealous of your answers.

That they misuse the 'report abuse' button is incidental.
What is the first and principal thing they do?
What needs does they serve by 'reporting'?

They 'report' because...
... it allows them to "dominate".
That is their nature. And how do they begin to dominate?
Do they seek to dominate everything?

No IceMAN gazpacho, they begin by dominating that which they can; that which they are allowed to dominate.

Brave IceMAN gazpacho....
You will let me know when the Yamsters stop sending violation notices, won't you?
