yeah thanks technology can tell you how the earth was formed billions of years ago, how rivers and canyons and mountains were formed but it cannot tell you of previous seismic activity. and they can

LUKE 21:11: There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
Jesus spoke these words in prophetic utterance concerning the end of the age...These are only a few of the signs that will precede, herald and continue throughout,
the time of Jacob's trouble.

I think that a 100 year time span in an earth thats been here for nearly 80 times that.. at least.. is not enough time to base a dramatic increase in the current weather conditions, or natural disasters. It is interesting to think about.. but we haven't been measuring these things long enough to make accurate desicions.
If earth was created in 1890.. then I would agree that God is comming soon ^.^ But we don't know what the other 1889 years of A.D. were like, natural disaster wise.

Hmmm interesting... so in the 4 years from 1990 to 1994 there were basically 136.75 each of those years....
Were all of these on land or some under the seas and oceans? I doubt technology was able to get readings in uncivilized areas in the earlier years...or for all bodies of water....
Still, with all the blasting, tunneling, and building that mankind has done, I'm sure it has made a difference in upsetting the earth just as the layers of smog etc has affected the atmosphere....
LOL God doesn't have to do anything much in that area...mankind is doing pretty well upsetting the laws of nature, etc.,. on our own.
Peace be with you all. :)

Um, it's called "technological advancement." We detect quakes now that were undetectable 25, 50, 100 years ago.

Their explanation... "God is coming"
Mine... First, I'd like to see a source. Second, there is probably a reasonable explanation. Third, they probably couldn't detect earthquakes that well so long ago.
