We've all seen those tv shows and movies where a cop needs a car, flashes his badge, and snags someone's car. I'm just curious if a cop can, LEGALLY, do that? Does anyone know of any laws in their respective states?

Legal "authority" or not, a cop would have to shoot me if he wanted my vehicle, same as any other thug.

I think legally they can. But they would have to break my window and kill me before they got me out of my car. I would tell him to take that busted a*s ford geo metro parked next to me insted of my car lol

i believe they can even if you are not found guilty of anything. not Constitutional but that's just a gd piece of paper, don't ya know.
