Don't do that it's very unhealthy. Just try replacing fatty foods and carbs with healthier foods, such as celery, lettuce, fruit, etc.

Um, no.

If you want to look skinny that's not the way to do it. If you restrict your body from getting the food it needs, it'll go into a sort of panic mode. It'll think it's starving and then everything you eat will be turned to fat immediately for storage.

If you want to lose weight, you should eat MORE. 5-6 times a day to be exact. This builds up your metabolism. Also, you should exercise daily. It lets your body know that just because the caloric intake is lowered doesnt mean it's shutting down, it still has to work.

When I dieted for about 6 months I lost 60 lbs. Im by no means a nutritionist, so maybe my choices weren't the best, but it's what worked for me. This was what my normal menu looked like for the day:

Breakfast: Low-fat yogurt with a cup of raw oatmeal mixed in. Some sort of fruit, and a glass of low-fat milk (I drank soymilk but that was a choice cause I prefer the taste) and a bottle of water.

The oatmeal is a good trick cause it fills you up, and makes you less hungry during the day. it's also giving you lots of fiber and other nutrients.

A few hours later I'd have a small snack. Another bottle of water, some fruit and low-fat cheese.

For lunch: A sandwich, usually a trim deli meat or tuna fish. a salad, or some veggies. MORE water (Keep hydrated! Very important!) a few baked chips (lower fat but still hit that salty craving).

A few hours later, another small snack: Usually some sort of sweet, like a 100-calorie pack. There's TONS of them nowadays, cookies, chips, crackers, goldfish, you name it and they've managed to cut the calories and keep the serving size proportionate.

And for dinner I'd have some frozen Lean Cuisine or Smartones meal.

And all during the day, I'd drink 8-10 glasses of water!

I lost 60 lbs in just under 6 months this way, and I didnt even kill myself exercising--I'd just walk a mile every night.

Good luck and if you want to diet, do it right. You'll just hurt yourself in the long run if you don't, and gain it all back the minute you start eating again.

Of course you'll be skinnier, but, that is a dangerous way to become thinner. More fruits and veggies, and way less carbs, make sure to add some protein to this diet as well, Tuna, salmon are excellant choices, Milk also helps in the weight loss scheme of things too. I hope I've given you some, pardon the pun, Food for thought . Take care and good luck.

Absolutely! You'll be a few pounds thinner, but once your body gets sick from malnourishment, you'll go back to your eating habits and regain it twice. Then you'll be back here asking us where you can buy a pistol to shoot yourself for thinking you were smart. If you are willing to make a quick effort for a real bad setback, just do the long term diet and enjoy the long term effects of taking good care of your body. eat six small meals a day totaling the amount of calories you need to function in one day, say 1,200-1,400. walk, jog or have sex for 30 minutes and you'll be set for life. Try weight watchers if you can, but this Holocaust Diet is sooooo not "in" anymore.

only till sept no ull just feel crappy just try not eat fatty foods and exersize
till sept theres nothing you can do but gradually the wieght will drop if u exersize and eat healthy
also look online for what exersizes to burn calories like how many calories u burn in a hour of walking
and pay attention to how many calories r in the food
ex 3500 cals= a pound and lets say walking for an hour burns 120 cals

burn more cals in a day than what you eat

it's not going to work.

Yes, if you stop eating for two weeks, you'll lose weight, but you won't look good: someone who loses ten pounds by starvation looks nothing like someone who loses ten pounds by exercise and right eating. And it won't last for you: losing weight isn't a short-term sacrifice. For long-term improvement, you need to make the lifestyle change. I'm telling you nothing new, and I don't know whether or not you'll listen, but if you lose the weight by extreme measures, you'll gain it back again when you return to your previous lifestyle. I've gone through that a dozen times. You'll only have long-term results by changing how you exercise and why, and how you eat and why

the worst thing to do if you want to lose some weight is to just stop eating because you will never keep it up and when you eat again then you will put on more weight.

the best thing for you to do is to do a little exercise every week, health experts recommend a half an hour walk 3 times a week at least.
And also just replace fatty foods like chips with healthier foods like boiled potatos.

To loose too much weight in a short period is very dangerous. Go on a simple, vegetable based diet, cut out fried foods and if you must have "meat" try fish & chicken (NOT deep fried) and you will loose weight sensibly. Crash diets almost never work and you don't want to become an Olsen triplet. Take care of yourself & stop worrying about what someone else might think of you.

if you take in less than 800 calories a day, you will qualify as anorexic, it can make you very ill, and any weight you lose will only be water. you get it back with interest when you eat normally.
Eat at least 1200 calories a day, and plan to lose a pound or two a week. It takes three times as long to lose excess weight as it did to gain it, you can't rush it off, there is no magic diet.

yeah you'd lose some weight but you'd gain it all back really quick... try eating MORE... and more often... could carbs have like 30 at one meal and 45 at the next eat 6 of those a day...
or if you have to lose a few pounds for a reason... just fast on water until then....

Sure, but your body would go into hibernation mode. You sound like an eating disorder waiting to happen.

I'm sure you can think of some healthier ways to look skinnier, if not ask us.

Becoming a vegetarian would help, so would cardio. exercise.
