My girlfriend rear ended me, all her fault and she had full coverage and turned it in on her totaled car when it did minor damage to my bumper of my truck probably a 300-500$ fix and I'm scared of turning it in to her insurance from it raising hers because the damage doesnt really bother me but fixing it would be nice too

um.. if she turned it in to her insurance.. they should know that she rearended you and your vehicle is damaged? Unless she committed insurance fraud and told them a lie?

If she was found at fault (which should would be for rearending you obviously) the damage is already done. she has an at fault accident on her record..

Since thats the case.... might as well get it fixed! If her insurance hasnt called you.. call them up. explain to your g/f that she already has an at fault accident on there so you guys might as well get paid for it.

If she has presented a claim they will inspect your vehicle and write you a check. Trust me, a $500 bumper is academic at this point...

most insurances have a one accident forgiveness policy's before her rate will even go up. and if it would go up it would be 15% or less of the total policy.

Her insurance should pay for damages to your car.

If she's already reported the accident,
your small claim from the same accident
will make no difference to her.

Get an estimate to fix yours, tell her, she will turn it in and get you paid. Problem solved.
