I just want to know all the steps I should take so I am sure not to miss anything. It is all going to be in small claims court.

I live near you in Florida. If the person that owes you money is in Orange county then you just go to the clerk of the court, file your pages, the person will be served, the cost range from $55.00 to $255.00 depending on the amount that you are sueing for. Small claims courts are local courts, so they vary from town to town. Check out the county courthouse for your town. Get all the documentation that you can.

first step make sure u have docs saying they owe u!! and if not then u are SOL!!!
