I can't show you where something is in the Bible if its not there.

What you are asking, isn't.

In fact, Jesus corrected people whose religious beliefs were wrong.

In the Old Testament, false teachers of religion were often put to death.

In First Kings chapter 18, 450 false prophets were killed.

When Jesus returns to earth, He will kill all those who follow false religion who remain alive at that time.

Its my job as a Christian, to warn people so that they don't end up in that number.

The Bible implies people are blameless if they were without the law. Since only the Israelites, at the time, had made a covenant with God, other people were not bound by it.

Romans 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

Outside the Bible, modern revelation tells us "All who have died without a knowledge of this gospel, who would have received it if they had been permitted to tarry, shall be heirs of the celestial kingdom of God;"

I'm pretty well versed with the Bible and I'm quite sure that Jesus did not even once condone another religion, mainly due to the fact that the only religions in his day were either Muslim, which he would never condone, Judaism, whose laws he himself lived by, or paganism, (false idol worship) which was practiced by just about everyone else who wasn't a Muslim or Jew. Back in Jesus' day there wasn't such a thing as a Methodist, a Presbyterian or a Baptist, etc, so to say that he asked that his followers pay respect to all other religions simply did not happen.

Quite honestly, I don't even understand how to respect a religion or anything else that is not a concrete noun. I'm more into respecting people and having honest discussion. To answer your question directly, I don't think that is in the Bible, and I can't think of anything remotely similar. In fact, it warns people that they should watch out for false prophets and to not believe them. (Matthew 24:24)

It could be 1 Peter 3:15. "Sanctify the Christ as Lord in your hearts always ready to make a defense for your faith before everyone that demands of you a reason for the hope in you , but doing so with a mild temper and deep respect."

i am not a bible expert either but I dont believe that you will find it in the bible. The first commandment says to have no other Gods before thee. This means that God is a jealous God and wants to make it plain that He is the only God and that there are no others.

Granted I do not know every verse in the Bible but I think anyone looking for this reference looks in vain. Why would God tell us to respect false religions?

Remember that religion is a creation of man. In any scripture, God has never mentioned the word, "Religion", never. Most people confuse God with Religion.

The Bible doesn't say that, its the opposite.

Exodus 20

3Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
