i believe that jesus is my lord and savior. I believe that God created me. I believe that He loves me.
But my faith is like a roller coaster (now being the "high" part)
I wake up in the morning and i feel good because God has me covered.

But sometimes i forget how much he means to me and get pulled in by the immoral and sinful acts of humans. I love God and i realize that sin does separate us from him. I'm tired of being on this roller coaster and just want to live a happy life with Him, because i know that is the best life for me.

Hello, I appreciate your question. That's very humble of you to ask. I want to encourage you to spend more time in the word. Read it, study it, meditate on it. Your faith will grow and you will find yourself desiring the things of God and you will become sensitive to the Holy Spirits convictions. It may not "feel" good at the time when he convicts you but it's good for us because he's "cleaning house" so to speak. We even need to look at the smaller "refined" sins that we overlook and turn it over to the Lord with prayer asking him to take the desires out of our heart and anything that is hindering his will for us.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." Hebrews 4:12-13

You can only fight a spiritual battle with spiritual weapons.
"Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 6:11-12

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to hive good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" Luke 11:9-13

Prayer is a powerful weapon that is overlooked at times. Use it to Glorify God and edify the body of Christ.

He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20
(Have you ever seen a mustard seed?!) ;-)

"When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." James 4:3

"As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God." Psalm 42:1

Your friend in Christ, Hugs!!!

That's great that you have the faith in God, and that you realize there are times when your faith waivers. Those may be the times when Satan is going at you the hardest. You just have to keep praying for the wisdom to be aware of when Satan is tempting you and the strength to resist him. Here are some relevant scriptures; maybe these will help. God bless!

Corinthians 10:13 -- No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

James 4:7 -- Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Romans 16:20 -- The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Oh how human we all are and as such, are open to all the same temptations. Every Christian will experience highs and lows in our walk through this life. We need to remind ourselves that we're not just called to be followers of Christ but to also be His disciples which means being disciplined in our walk with Him. It is important to set aside time every day to read His word and to have conversation with Him (After all that is what prayer is). As we spend time in His company, not just talking to Him but also listening, our relationship with Him develops and the desire to please Him grows. Reading His word keeps us continually alert to His will and the more we know His will, the more aware we are of sin in our lives. He is faithful and will help us to overcome everything that gets in the way, we only need to ask. In agreement with Puka, we should also pray daily to ask Him to clothe us in the spiritual protection (armour) He has provided for us.

Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your law in my heart so that I will not sin against you.

God bless

You are not alone. It seems to be a constant battle. We are sinners living in a fallen world and a culture which becomes more and more secular every day. Keep on praying, studying the Bible and going to a great church. God will do the rest.

Give yourself a break and stop trying "to believe" in him. Instead, simply do unto others as you would have them do unto you, or in modern terms; treat other people the way you would have them treat you.

You will find that by just living, as he lived, rather than trying to convince yourself of anything you may will be a whole lot happier which is the only thing he intended for you anyway.

Do Unto Others and Be Happy :-)

By relinquishing the religion delusion and taking responsibility for your life. The ups and downs will always be there, but at least you can find comfort in living honestly.

Truly, it sounds like your religion is causing a lot more stress and pain than true happiness. Examine your beliefs and see if they're right for you. No religion should make you feel like this.

You have recognized one of evil's faces, and truth is ready to destroy it for you if you let it. Get yourself out of the way (fear and doubt, etc.)
