1. Watch for big time swelling or constricted breathing - in case your allergic
2. Make sure the stinger is removed- if its not removed you may get infected and swelling and pain will not stop
3. A small dab of wet tobacco will draw the poison out. Backing powder will too.

This just happened to me a few weeks ago.

Mix baking soda with water to make a paste and put on the sting to help the swelling. Take some Benadryl.

Go to the doctor if it swells up too badly or if you get breathe..

Get the stinger out immediately no matter as to how u do it. Then u can put ice on it. U can buy a cream containing a combination of antihistamine, an analgesic, and a corticosteroid. If u have trouble breathing get to the ER or call 911

after you've made sure the stinger is out... (scrape across the area with a credit card)
this sounds crazy but tape a clean penny over it for 15 minutes...it will take away the stinging and swelling...
the meat tenderizer works well on the sting... not the swelling I think...

Bee stings are soothed by apple cider vinegar or baking soda paste. ice is always indicated for any swelling but apple cider vinegar usually precludes that necessity.....summmertime is ice time though .lol
