why do people think that muslims only come from another country! my friend is 100% english herritege and she is a muslim- probably more english than anyone that says 'muslims come from another country! Islam is a faith- not a race! how come people dont see that?

Those people are the same ones that don't know the difference between a Muslim and a Hindu. They say stupid things like 'We'll they both wear turbans don't they?'
This is what happens when people don't pay attention in school.

I agree, they don't get it.
I am a British Muslim. I was born as a Muslim, I was born in the UK. That makes me a British Muslim .

The Muslims that we see are stuck in the 6th or 7th century Arabian lifestyle with their religion and culture closely tied together. Just recently Muslims were ready to kill everyone for a few cartoons about Muhammad. Beheading people seems quite normal for them.
It is hard for anyone to believe that Islam is a faith and not a race. Does the race allow other religions in their country?

my friend is african muslim,yet people are shocked when they hear him say hes muslim,just because he has black skin!!
